VMR website with a new look
One of the main reasons is accessibility. On the one hand, the VMR wants to be as accessible as possible for everyone. On the other hand, Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies must be implemented. Care was therefore taken to ensure that the new website has clear and simple navigation. The homepage, for example, takes you directly to the various human rights topics. The content has been designed so that it is easy to read and can be translated into a simpler language if required. It is also possible to have the page translated into English.
The Ombudsman's Office for Children and Young People (OSKJ) is now also embedded in the VMR website. While it previously had its own website at www.oskj.li, this Internet address now leads to the children and young people section of the new VMR website.
With the new website, we also want to be closer to our website visitors. The contact form for human rights violations and complaints can now be found easily. It is also easier than before to subscribe to the VMR newsletter and stay up to date on the VMR and human rights issues in Liechtenstein.
Many thanks to Sitewalk Est., Grafik Studio M and Pluspunkt Establishment for the realization of the new website!
