🌈 Panel discussion "Beyond the rainbow" - personal review: Lisa von Reden had the pleasure of representing the Association for Human Rights on the panel on September 10, 2025. The discussion showed: The realities of life for queer people in Liechtenstein are diverse and they call for concrete action.

Three points are particularly important here:

1️⃣ Isolation is one of the strongest stress factors. People who feel alone are at a significantly higher risk of anxiety, depression and stress. An appropriate network of support options is needed here.
2️⃣ Rights alone are not enough. Many people don't even know what options they have in the event of discrimination, for example. This shows how urgent it is to provide information and education.
3️⃣ Transgender and non-binary people need legal recognition and protection. Liechtenstein is lagging behind here.

From a human rights perspective, this is not about "special concerns", but about equal treatment for everyone in Liechtenstein.

👉 For Lisa, one thing remains clear: human rights are not divisible. Diversity requires not only acceptance, but also clear structures to protect it.
