The event will conclude on Human Rights Day, December 10, at the SAL in Schaan.

🎙️ "Freedom, facts, fakes." | Episode 4 with Christian Blank

"Freedom of expression and information is fundamental - without access to reliable information, other human rights cannot be effective." - Christian Blank

Christian Blank is Deputy Managing Director of the Association for Human Rights in Liechtenstein (VMR). The VMR was established as a National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) in 2016 with the Law on the Association for Human Rights in Liechtenstein. It is the independent contact and monitoring point for human rights in Liechtenstein in accordance with the UN Paris Principles.

In the conclusion of the podcast series on Human Rights Day, presenter Andreas Krättli and Christian Blank talk about the importance of freedom of expression and information for human rights and a liberal democracy. Other topics include accessibility to information, the media landscape in Liechtenstein, state media funding and the functioning of the VMR as an NHRI.
