Human trafficking causes serious human rights violations: People are abducted by force, forced to work and exploited. They lose their freedom, their identity and their rights.

Liechtenstein has had a reporting platform for victims to the police since 2023. So far, however, there have been few reports. Many are afraid to come forward because they fear deportation or arrest - or they do not perceive themselves as victims.
