November 20 is Children's Rights Day. Liechtenstein will also be celebrating the 30th anniversary of its accession to the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 2025. Helen Konzett, ombudswoman for children and young people, reveals in an interview in the Liechtensteiner Vaterland where there is still a need for action in terms of implementation.

To mark the 30th anniversary, there will be a special program in Liechtenstein on Children's Rights Day:

Between 12 and 12.45 pm and between 4 and 4.45 pm, the Children's Rights Bus will be on the road on route 13. With live music, the bus invites you to get on and enjoy the ride while providing information about children's rights. Under the motto "Right of way for children's rights", the bus has been on Liechtenstein's roads for a year since June. The second highlight is the sticker collection campaign, which takes place between 3 and 5 pm. In the foyer of the Ruggell community hall and the auditorium of Triesen elementary school, children can collect stickers and stick them in their own sticker album. A photo box invites you to a creative photo shoot and you can also design your own buttons on site. A healthy snack will be provided for all visitors. Until February, the stickers can be traded at various swap meets and every full album will be entered into a prize draw. The National Museum, the House of Families and the Art Museum are also taking part in this year's Children's Rights Day with a special program.
