Now more than ever!
Human rights are the basis for a life in dignity, freedom and security. But they cannot be taken for granted. The global situation shows that we need to protect them even more! Because without human rights, discrimination, oppression and violence threaten to destroy the lives of countless people. If we do not actively defend human rights, we will not only lose protection for the weakest, but also the foundations and values that make our society free and our world worth living in.
We stand up for human rights in Liechtenstein. We advise and support victims of human rights violations. We give vulnerable people a voice and stand up for their rights at all levels. We investigate, monitor and inform about the human rights situation in Liechtenstein. We strengthen the legal basis, raise public and political awareness and advise the authorities in their practice - so that human rights in Liechtenstein become effective.
