In order to assess the human rights situation in the country and make appropriate recommendations, a close exchange with various contact and advice centers, authorities and specialist agencies as well as international human rights experts is necessary. In 2024, the Advisory Council met with 19 international and supra-regional specialist organizations. At national level, it exchanged views with the Ministry for Society, 9 authorities and 19 non-governmental organizations. It organizes round tables at which authorities and non-governmental organizations exchange ideas. The OSKJ coordinates the Liechtenstein Children's Lobby, a lively and competent network of various children's and family organizations comprising over 30 organizations. This multifaceted exchange serves to address human rights problems, develop a common understanding of them and initiate concrete measures for improvement.
At the annual meeting of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions, the VHR gathers valuable experience from the European human rights work of its partners and suggestions on how to tackle common human rights challenges.
