Right of way for children's rights
Together with the Liechtenstein Children's Lobby and UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein, we are delighted with the all-round successful event that kicked off the anniversary year yesterday.
In his speech, Government Councillor Emanuel Schädler emphasized how important it is for us as a country and society to stand up for vulnerable groups. This includes children. And it is a strong sign that, in addition to all the government councillors and Head of Government Brigitte Haas, the state parliament - across all parties - was also represented at the event.
Under the motto "Right of way for children's rights", the children's lobby has designed a Liemobil bus that will be traveling through Liechtenstein for a year from now. There are various QR codes on the bus that provide information about children's rights and show what is being done to promote them in Liechtenstein.
A big thank you to all the children, young people, teachers, parents and other children's organizations who got involved in this event. We are already looking forward to Children's Rights Day on 20 November: it will be colourful and loud again!
