At the exchange meeting with the Human Rights Working Group on November 10, 2025, the Advisory Council had the opportunity to discuss current topics. The focus was on the presentation of the new monitoring report and the discussion of the current human rights situation in Liechtenstein.

The administration's internal Human Rights Working Group has been in place since 2019 and is responsible for implementing the recommendations of international human rights bodies to Liechtenstein and coordinating data collection and reporting to these bodies. It is chaired by the Office for Foreign Affairs.

The working group is also tasked with exchanging information with institutions and organizations outside the administration that are central to the implementation of human rights in Liechtenstein, namely civil society organizations and private sector actors. This also includes the VMR.
