Annual Meeting of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Justice
For the Liechtenstein Human Rights Association (VMR), discussion and dialogue with civil society—as well as with government agencies and policymakers—are important. Today, the association therefore met for its annual exchange with the Ministry of Society and Justice of the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the responsible Minister, Emanuel Schädler.
Topics discussed included the human rights situation and its development both domestically and abroad, as well as the planned special exhibition on human rights at the Liechtenstein National Museum next year. Other topics included detention, domestic violence, the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the creation of a child-friendly justice system.
The VMR expresses its gratitude for the constructive exchange.
